News18 India launches Dhurandhar campaign with revamped prime-time line-up
Campaign brings leading Hindi news anchors together to reinforce editorial leadership.
MUMBAI: When the headlines compete, the newsroom becomes the headline. News18 India is putting its editorial firepower centre stage with a campaign that spotlights the faces behind its prime-time programming. News18 India has unveiled its ‘Dhurandhar’ campaign, bringing together its leading Hindi news anchors under one editorial umbrella as the network looks to reinforce its leadership in the Hindi news genre.
Built around the campaign line, “News jagat ke saare Dhurandhar, ab ek saath, ek manch par,” the initiative highlights the channel’s revamped prime-time line-up while underscoring its focus on credibility, consistency and editorial expertise.
The campaign features Major Gaurav Arya, Arpita Arya, Prateek Trivedi, Amish Devgan, Kishore Ajwani, Sushant Sinha and Aman Chopra, whose reporting spans national security, politics, investigative journalism, field reporting, explanatory news and prime-time debates.
Rather than centring the campaign on a single face, News18 India has positioned its collective editorial bench strength as its key differentiator, reflecting a broader industry trend where trusted journalists are increasingly becoming brands in their own right.
The initiative comes as television news broadcasters compete for audience attention across television and digital platforms, with viewers placing greater emphasis on credible reporting, context and analysis amid an increasingly crowded news landscape.
By spotlighting multiple editorial voices, News18 India is also signalling a shift towards offering viewers diverse perspectives while maintaining a consistent editorial identity.
The ‘Dhurandhar’ campaign marks the latest effort by the network to strengthen its prime-time positioning, with the channel betting that trusted journalism and familiar editorial voices will continue to drive audience loyalty in an increasingly fragmented media environment.
