Shivangi Dikshit promoted to director of LCS ad revenue at JioHotstar
The promotion caps a swift rise through the ranks at the streaming giant, where she moved from associate director to director in under a year
GURGAON: JioHotstar has promoted Shivangi Dikshit to director of LCS ad revenue, effective June 2026. The move caps a rapid ascent at the platform: Dikshit joined as associate director in November 2025 and has been elevated in under seven months.
Dikshit brings nearly 16 years of media sales experience to the role, spanning digital, television and print. Before JioHotstar, she spent close to five years at Viacom18 Media, where she rose from manager to senior manager in the company’s digital ventures division, focused on ad-supported video on demand (AVOD). Prior to that, she spent almost two years as associate account manager at WarnerMedia, based in New Delhi.
Her career in media began at The Times of India, where she served as assistant manager for over six years, building a foundation in key account management, revenue expansion and client relationships. Stints at Viacom18 and Star India followed before she moved into the streaming world.
Dikshit’s expertise spans business development, key account management, sales strategy, market penetration and team management, with a particular focus on retaining clients and driving revenue growth through deep customer relationships.
For JioHotstar, which is aggressively building out its advertising business as streaming competition intensifies, having battle-hardened ad revenue leaders in place is not optional. Dikshit has done the hard yards across print, broadcast and digital. Now she gets to run the show.
