MUMBAI: A new number cruncher is stepping into the corner office at Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited. The company has appointed Srividya Srinivasan as its chief financial officer and executive director, effective July 1, 2026, as part of a broader leadership reshuffle.

The appointment, approved by the board of directors, follows the transition of incumbent CFO Gaurav Bhartia to a new role within Procter & Gamble. Srinivasan will serve as executive director for a five-year term alongside her CFO responsibilities.

A P&G veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Srinivasan currently serves as Group CFO for P&G India. Since joining the consumer goods giant in 2005, she has held senior finance leadership positions across the United States, Latin America, the Philippines and India, building expertise across business operations, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning and global business services.

Her international assignments include serving as vice president of Manila Global Business Services and Global External Reporting, vice president of Source Plan Pay Operations in Global Business Services, and senior finance director for P&G’s Latin America Baby and Feminine Care business. Earlier in her career, she led finance functions for North America’s multi-billion-dollar Fabric Care business and worked on strategic M&A initiatives from the company’s Cincinnati headquarters.

Before joining P&G, Srinivasan worked at Verizon and Citi. She holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

The board has also approved a new role for Ghanashyam Hegde, who will step down as company secretary and compliance officer on June 30, 2026, after being selected for a regional role within P&G. He will be redesignated as a non-executive director of the company from July 1.

The leadership changes come as P&G Hygiene continues to strengthen its senior management bench, with Srinivasan’s global finance experience expected to support the company’s growth ambitions and strategic priorities in India. Her appointment also underscores P&G’s preference for promoting seasoned internal leaders with deep operational and international experience into key leadership roles.
