NDTV clears way for buiness news channel

MUMBAI: New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) board today approved to launch a separate Business News channel.
This, however, is subject to obtaining necessary approvals and premissions from the various authorities under applicable laws, the company informed the BSE.

NDTV had made an application to the information and broadcasting minsitry for uplinking permission for a business news channel on 9 September.
As reported by indiantelevision.com earlier, NDTV’s business channel is expected to start beaming within the next three to six months.
