NDTV, Channel [V] win Asian TV Awards

SINGAPORE: Asian TV Awards, Asia’s premier awards programme for the broadcasting and production fraternity, has started announcing the 2004 winnners.

At the time of uploading this report, two Indian channels had won top honours – NDTV and Channel [V].

NDTV India 24X7’s The Big Fight – Has The Time Come To End The Beauty Contest has won the award for the Best talkshow programme.

In the Best live event coverage category, the Channel [V] show Big [V] Concert won the award.

Now it remains to be seen which of the other Indian nominees will make it. Stay tuned for an updated list.
