‘Lakme Fashion House’ to debut on Star One on 19 Feb

MUMBAI: Lakme Fashion House, the show with a reality silhouette is all decked up for a premiere on Star One on 19 February. The show will give an excellent platform to young designers to showcase their brilliance and creations and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm.

The first episode will feature various aspects involved in the selection procedure by acclaimed duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.Both designers will pick the best from Mumbai after a grueling selection procedure, where talent, designing and technical skills of all the contestants are all judged. They are assisted by one of Mumbai’s famous fashion designers- Anita Dongre. Finally, the four with the best talent are chosen to come to the Fashion House.

The second episode on 20 February will have Jani and Khosla move to Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi to look for the remaining 12 contestants who will be a part of Lakme Fashion House. In each city, they are assisted by a famous designer like Manoviraj Khosla in Bangalore, Anamika Khanna in Kolkata and Raghvendra Rathore in Delhi, in helping them select the contestants.

There is a range of fashion designs all through the episode, from the completely wearable, to the most impractical.

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.

The launch marks a milestone for free streaming in India, offering audiences a dedicated comedy destination directly from their Samsung TV home screen.
