Barista launches Cr?me outlet in Delhi

MUMBAI: Barista Coffee Company today announced the launch of its new exclusive sub brand of premium cafés – Barista Cr?me in Delhi, which offers several new concepts.
 

 
Warm hues, mood enhancing lighting, interesting use of wood and glass, minimalist chairs, deep couches and elegant screens create the concept of intimate spaces, which is further enhanced by their personalised table service and very chic menu offering specials exclusive to the store.

Open through the week, 9 am to 11 pm, Barista Cremé also has a corner bookstore and is a Wi-Fi enabled store.

Barista Cr?me also has health food options with Barista Sugarfree Delite, low fat yoghurt based smoothies and a range of salads.
Commenting on the occasion of the launch of the store, Barista Coffee Company CEO Partha Dattagupta said, “Barista Cr?me is our tribute to the fine Italian coffee drinking culture that has caught up very well with the Indian consumers. The launch of Cr?me will not only augment the coffee drinkers experience to new heights, but with the introduction of several new concepts such as table service, lounge seating and new additions to the food and beverage menu, it will ensure that we keep our consumers asking for more.”

 
 
The launch of Cr?me has brought to forefront the coffee brewing activity, with the in-store brewing forming a key part of the authentic Italian espresso bar feel.

The Deli is also one of the key features at Barista Cr?me. This concept will bring to the table, products made with the finest and freshest ingredients. The Deli will help to freshly prepare the current range of Classic Sandwiches such as Paneer Tikka, Cheese ‘n Harissa, Smoked Chicken, with a choice of new international breads including croissants, bagels, and baguettes. Besides this, a new and exciting range of gourmet fillings such as Ranch Style Chicken and Honey Mustard Capsicorn, again exclusive to Cr?me, will also be available.

“Given the great response to this flagship store, we plan to take the premium coffee drinking experience across the country, to various other cities like Mumbai and Bangalore. With the launch of Barista Cr?me, we have added a new dimension to the coffee drinking culture,” Dattagupta added.

Ember Cookware appoints Amit Singh as chief of supply chain

10-year veteran to lead operations as brand scales across D2C, quick commerce and retail.

MUMBAI: Ember just handed its supply chain the perfect seasoning because when your cookware is non-toxic and non-stick, the operations behind it better be fast and flawless. Ember Cookware has appointed Amit Singh as chief of supply chain and Services, bolstering its leadership team at a pivotal growth phase. Singh brings over a decade of experience in supply chain strategy, operations and large-scale network buildouts.

He began his career at Singapore-based retail giant Giant Hypermarket before joining Pharmeasy in 2015, where he played a foundational role in building and scaling its pan-India supply chain across B2B and B2C channels. At API Holdings, he later led supply chain operations for North India, managing end-to-end execution across complex, multi-city networks.

In his new role, Amit will oversee Ember’s complete supply chain and service ecosystem including sourcing, manufacturing coordination, logistics, last-mile delivery, post-purchase support and workforce development. His mandate focuses on building cost-efficient, resilient operations that shorten fulfilment times, strengthen inventory management and deliver a consistently high-quality consumer experience as the brand expands nationally.

Ember Cookware co-founder & CEO Siddharth Gadodia said, “Supply chain is where growth either holds or breaks.
