Zee UK names Madhu’s its Official Celebration Partner
The Southall hospitality brand will feature across Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, the Zee Cine Awards, the Zee Rishtey Awards and a new Bollywood movie festival on Zee Cinema
LONDON: Zee UK has found its party planner. The European arm of Zee Entertainment has named Madhu’s, the British Asian hospitality brand founded in Southall in 1980, as its Official Celebration Partner. The deal puts Sanjay Anand MBE’s family-run group front and centre across Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, the Zee Cine Awards, the Zee Rishtey Awards and a new Madhu’s Celebrates Bollywood Movie Festival on Zee Cinema.
The message is simple and loud. Every achievement deserves a party, and every party deserves Madhu’s. Viewers are being urged to stop waiting for the perfect occasion and celebrate now.
The pairing makes sense. Madhu’s has spent more than four decades catering for weddings, birthdays and milestones. Zee has spent the same time filling British Asian living rooms with song, story and stars. The partnership stitches the two together. Madhu’s will appear across broadcast, digital, experiential and community platforms, with bespoke content, exclusive viewer experiences, client events and social activations.
Both sides bring heft to the table. Zee UK offers a combined television reach of more than 4.5 million across Zee TV, Zee Cinema and Zee Punjabi, plus a global social following of over 25 million. Madhu’s brings four generations of family know-how and a 2025 Michelin Guide nod for its Southall restaurant, the first in the area.
Sanjay Anand, chairman and co-founder of Madhu’s, said the brand has always been about helping families mark the moments that matter. “Zee has been part of British Asian homes for decades. To stand beside Zee UK as its Official Celebration Partner is a proud moment for all of us. We believe life is for celebrating, the small happiness as much as the big.”
Parul Goel, territory head, UK and Europe, Zee Entertainment UK, called it more than traditional sponsorship. “Madhu’s is a name that British Asian families trust with their most precious moments. Together we want to encourage our audiences to celebrate now and not wait for the perfect occasion.”
The calendar will be busy. Musical wins on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, film recognition at the Zee Cine Awards, television nights at the Zee Rishtey Awards and a Bollywood festival on Zee Cinema will all carry the Madhu’s stamp. Exclusive events and networking programmes are also planned.
Two brands that have long served the same community have decided the next round of celebrations will be done together. The table is set. The only question left is who brings the champagne.
