MUMBAI: It’s game on for business networking. PRAVAAH has officially launched with an ambition to bring together South Asian business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and sports organisations across North America through sport-led networking and community engagement.

The platform, whose name is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “flow”, aims to use sports as a catalyst for building business relationships, fostering cultural connections and creating commercial opportunities across one of North America’s fastest-growing multicultural communities.

Structured as a joint venture between Ocgrow Ventures and Tulsea Sports Marketing, PRAVAAH will work with sports rightsholders, brands, technology companies, investors and community organisations to deliver experiential events, strategic advisory services and partnership programmes tailored to South Asian audiences.

The organisation said its initial focus will be on connecting sports properties with business leaders and founders from multicultural communities through curated events that encourage networking, collaboration and business development.

Speaking on the launch, Ocgrow Ventures co-founder and founder and CEO Harish Consul said PRAVAAH was designed to be much more than a sports platform.

“PRAVAAH is far more than a sports platform. It’s a global movement built on the belief that sport has the power to unite people, ideas, cultures, and opportunity,” Ocgrow Ventures founder and CEO Harish Consul said.

He added that the company aims to build a global network where sports, business, technology, investment and culture intersect, creating opportunities for brands, entrepreneurs and sports organisations while inspiring the next generation of leaders.

During its first year, PRAVAAH plans to roll out programmes across major South Asian population centres, including Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington, D.C. and New York. The company also plans to begin international expansion in 2027.

Highlighting the role of sport in community building, Tulsea Sports Marketing partner and co-founder Sreesha Vaman said, “Sports has a unique ability to unite people across generations, cultures, and industries. PRAVAAH harnesses that power to bring together South Asian business leaders with the communities they serve, creating authentic connections that strengthen relationships and unlock new opportunities.”

The launch comes as multicultural audiences continue to grow in influence across North America’s sports and entertainment industries. PRAVAAH believes organisations are increasingly looking beyond one-off marketing campaigns in favour of long-term community engagement strategies that blend business, culture and sport.

With backing from experienced investors and sports marketing specialists, the new venture is positioning itself as a bridge between sports organisations and the South Asian business community, creating a platform where commercial partnerships and cultural connections can grow side by side.
