Toei Animation properties to be featured at Japanese trade conference
MUMBAI: Toei Animation is ready to feature its television properties at the Netherlands-Japan Trade Relations Conference. The conference will be held this month to explore the ways in which technological advancements have impacted the evolution of transport relations and their social, political and legal implications. The visual animations from Toei Animation’s program catalogues that will be exhibited in the conference are: Space Pirate Captain Harlock – In 2977 AC, the earth is facing imminent invading from alien creatures, the Mazonese. Unaware of the danger, the humans live a soft and debauched life. But Captain Harlock, the space pirate, stands in the way of the invaders. |
Cyborg 009 – Joe is the 9th member of a team of Cyborgs. He has an acceleration power, and all his teammates also have different special capacities. Together, they fight against the enemy who jeopardises the peace on earth. Digimon Data Squad – The series follows the adventures of Marcus and his partner Agumon as they challenge the menacing Digimon from the digital world who intrude the human world to cause nothing but trouble. One night, Tetsuro‘s mother is killed by a ruthless man hunting mechanical man. He decides to board the spatial train Galaxy Express 999 in search for a mysterious planet where everyone can receive mechanical bodies for free. |

Sony YAY! launches ‘House of Masti’ to celebrate 20 years of Shin chan
Comedian Kiku Sharda joins the fun with a special rap track as the mischievous icon returns to Indian TV.
MUMBAI: Shin chan is back and this time, he’s bringing the whole house of masti with him! Sony YAY!, India’s leading kids’ entertainment channel, has unveiled ‘House of Masti’, a specially curated programming block to mark 20 years of the iconic animated series Shin chan on Indian television. The campaign transforms the beloved character’s mischievous world into a fresh, high-energy viewing experience. It features new episodes, fan-favourite moments, and themed programming stunts, all designed to stand out from regular broadcasts.
Adding extra sparkle to the celebration, popular comedian Kiku Sharda has joined the campaign. He anchors the integration with a lively rap track titled ‘Shin chan ka YAY! Dhamaal’, infusing contemporary music and humour into the beloved series.
