Republic World appoints Avinay Krishna as deputy general manager for ad sales (West) R Bangla

MUMBAI: Republic World has strengthened its advertising leadership with the appointment of Avinay Krishna as deputy general manager, ad sales (West) for Republic World and R Bangla.

Krishna joins the network after more than 11 years at OTV, where he most recently served as senior manager, sales. During his tenure, he was responsible for driving advertising sales and strengthening client relationships across key markets.

Before his latest role, Krishna also worked as a manager at BrandValue, adding to his experience in media sales and business development.

In his new role at Republic World, Krishna will lead advertising sales across western India while supporting revenue growth for both the English news network and its Bengali channel, R Bangla.

The appointment comes as broadcasters continue to strengthen their sales leadership amid growing competition for advertising revenues across television and digital platforms.
