Nickelodeon offers free month-long preview to Canadians
MUMBAI: For Canadian kids, it is an early Christmas treat as Nickelodeon is offering a free one-month preview.
Starting 15 December, the offer will last till 18 January. It will allow viewers who are not currently subscribed to Nickelodeon to sample the live-action comedies and animated content offering from the channel.
The channel will have regular programmes like iCarly, True Jackson and VP (live-action) and animated properties like SpongeBob SquarePants, The Penguins of Madagascar, Dora the Explorer and The Mighty B! as well as classic hits such as Ren & Stimpy, The Angry Beavers and CatDog.
The special programming events and premieres of new Nick live-action series such as The Troop and The Fresh Beat Band will also be available as a part of free preview.
Nickelodeon‘s free preview will be accessible on all participating carriers, including Rogers Personal TV subscribers (channel 231), Shaw Direct (channel 182), Shaw (channel 135), Cogeco (channel 142) and Bell TV (channel 559).

Comedian Kiku Sharda joins the fun with a special rap track as the mischievous icon returns to Indian TV.
MUMBAI: Shin chan is back and this time, he’s bringing the whole house of masti with him! Sony YAY!, India’s leading kids’ entertainment channel, has unveiled ‘House of Masti’, a specially curated programming block to mark 20 years of the iconic animated series Shin chan on Indian television. The campaign transforms the beloved character’s mischievous world into a fresh, high-energy viewing experience. It features new episodes, fan-favourite moments, and themed programming stunts, all designed to stand out from regular broadcasts.
Adding extra sparkle to the celebration, popular comedian Kiku Sharda has joined the campaign. He anchors the integration with a lively rap track titled ‘Shin chan ka YAY! Dhamaal’, infusing contemporary music and humour into the beloved series.

Starting 27 April, viewers can enjoy the World Television Premiere of Shin chan along with new episodes and an exciting lineup of blockbuster movies on Sony YAY!.
