News18 Marathi hosts Krishi Parishad 2026 to spotlight farm innovation
Agriculture minister, experts and farmers discuss sustainability and modern farming.
MUMBAI: When ideas are sown, the richest harvest is often knowledge. News18 Marathi brought Maharashtra’s agricultural future into sharp focus with Krishi Parishad 2026, convening policymakers, agri-entrepreneurs, experts and progressive farmers for a day of discussions centred on innovation, sustainability and the evolving opportunities in the farming sector.
Held as a platform for knowledge-sharing and dialogue, the conference explored how technology, climate resilience and allied agricultural businesses are reshaping farming at a time when the sector faces mounting environmental and economic challenges.
The event was attended by Maharashtra agriculture minister Dattatray Vithoba Bharne, who shared his perspective on the state’s agricultural landscape and outlined government initiatives aimed at supporting farmers. The programme concluded with an in-depth interview featuring the minister, where he discussed the challenges confronting Maharashtra’s farming community while highlighting the growing importance of innovation, collaboration and sustainable practices.
Panel discussions throughout the event examined a wide range of themes, including modern farming techniques, climate-resilient agriculture and the expanding role of allied businesses in improving farm incomes. Industry experts and practitioners shared practical insights, case studies and experiences designed to encourage the adoption of new-age technologies and resilient farming models.
The conference also brought together a diverse group of participants from across the agricultural ecosystem. Among those contributing to the discussions were Sandeep Meshram of RS Agroavatar, Sanjay Pawar of Poorva Chemtech, Sachin Bhosale of Ashtavinayak Hi-Tech Nursery, Atul Ganyarpawar of Chamorshi Taluka Sahakari Sangh, Gadchiroli, Shatrughan Jadhav of Venkatesh Happy Organic Products, Vishal Ashok Bagle of Ashok Agricultural Borewell Stimulation Services, Sujay Gitaram Pachange of Poshinda Organic, Suresh Rajaram Pathare representing Confidence Petroleum India Limited, Nagpur, Pravin Dileep Mane representing Ardra Corporation Private Limited, along with representatives from Kanhaiya Agro, Baramati Eco Systems and Technology Pvt. Ltd., and Abhimanyu Ramdas Nagawade.
By bringing together policymakers, entrepreneurs and grassroots practitioners under one roof, Krishi Parishad 2026 reinforced the growing importance of collaborative solutions as agriculture adapts to changing climatic conditions, evolving technologies and shifting market demands.
The initiative was powered by Reliance Industries Ltd., with Go Gas and Bells & Whistles as special partners, while Ardra Corporation and Grover came on board as associate partners.
The programme will be telecast on News18 Marathi at 1.21 pm and 3.21 pm on Saturday, and at 1.21 pm, 2.21 pm and 3.21 pm on Sunday.
