MTV’s Roadies REBIRTH enters season 21 with Rannvijay Singha as host

Mumbai: Roadies is getting a fresh ride. MTV India’s iconic adventure reality show Roadies REBIRTH is set to enter its 21st season, with original Roadie and long-time host Rannvijay Singha returning to lead the new chapter.

The season marks another reinvention for the franchise, which has spent more than two decades becoming a fixture of youth culture and adventure television. As its name suggests, REBIRTH promises to bring the show’s familiar spirit of grit, ambition and unpredictability into a new era.

The first sign of the change came with the reveal of the Roadies REBIRTH logo on MTV’s social media platforms. The new identity features a striking phoenix, traditionally associated with rebirth and transformation, signalling that the franchise is preparing for a significant reset.

But the makers are not giving away all their cards just yet.

A recent teaser features Rannvijay with three red and three yellow helmets appearing in the reflection of his sunglasses. The cryptic visual has prompted fans to speculate about what the helmets could mean and whether they offer an early clue about the game ahead.

For a franchise where decoding clues is almost as important as surviving the challenges, the mystery has already added another layer of intrigue.

Rannvijay’s return is likely to be one of the biggest draws of the new season. Having appeared on and hosted multiple seasons, he has become closely identified with the Roadies brand and its evolution over the years. His return also brings back a familiar face for long-time fans as a new generation prepares to enter the competition.

Speaking about the new season, MTV India host Rannvijay Singha said: “Roadies isn’t just a show for me; it’s an emotion. After all these years, the hunger, courage and dreams of every Roadie still hit differently.”

He said REBIRTH would retain the essence of pushing limits, fighting harder and refusing to back down, while bringing the spirit of the franchise to a new generation of contestants.

“I’ve seen Roadies evolve over the years and this new chapter feels incredibly exciting because it brings that same raw spirit back in a whole new way,” he added. “With a new generation ready to test themselves, I can’t wait to see who has what it takes to make their mark and how they navigate the twists and turns that await them.”

The journey towards REBIRTH will begin with auditions in Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Pune this September. The exact audition dates are expected to be announced soon.

With a new phoenix, a few mystery helmets and the return of one of its most recognisable Roadies, the franchise is signalling that season 21 is not simply another season. It is a reset, with the road ahead deliberately left full of surprises.
