MUMBAI: Women’s financial platform Lxme has kicked off a new campaign titled ‘Every Goal, Hers To Score’, drawing a direct line between breaking boundaries on the football pitch and taking control of personal finances.

The campaign film marks Lxme’s entry as the title partner of the Indian Women’s League (IWL), blending two arenas where women frequently bust long-held myths—football and finance.

Opening with age-old cliches like “Girls don’t play football” and “Girls don’t invest”, the spot flips the script by showcasing women tackling on the field, managing investments, and closing deals on homes. The narrative bridges athletic performance with financial milestones, framing everything from a first stock purchase to home ownership as a goal worth scoring.

“At Lxme, we believe that women should never have to second-guess their ambitions, whether they are pursuing a goal on the football field or building their financial future,” says Lxme founder Priti Rathi Gupta. “Our partnership with the Indian Women’s League reflects this shared belief in challenging stereotypes and creating spaces where women can participate, compete and thrive on their own terms.”

Co-founder Ridhi Doongursee adds: “Financial independence is built through the goals women set for themselves and the decisions they make every day. It could be starting to invest, saving for a home or simply feeling more confident about managing money. With ‘Every Goal, Hers To Score’, we want to celebrate these milestones and remind women that no financial goal is too small or too ambitious.”

The title partnership spans three years starting from the 2026–27 season and was brokered by Capri Sports, which operates the league under a long-term agreement with the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

By linking sporting ambition with financial literacy, Lxme is pitching a simple playbook to Indian women: save it, grow it, goal it.
