MUMBAI: When the news race shifts online, trust becomes the fastest route to the finish line. iTV Network has strengthened its foothold in India’s digital news landscape, with its flagship brands NewsX, India News, InKhabar and The Sunday Guardian posting strong performances in the latest Comscore MMX May 2026 rankings across desktop and multi-platform audiences.

The latest data highlights growing audience engagement across both English and Hindi news platforms, reinforcing the network’s expanding digital footprint as news consumption continues to migrate across screens.

Among the standout performers was The Sunday Guardian, which emerged as one of the country’s strongest-performing English digital news brands. The publication recorded 1.7 million unique desktop visitors, securing the third position nationally in the English news category. Its momentum extended across devices, where it attracted 5.9 million unique visitors across desktop and mobile, once again claiming the third spot among English news publishers and outperforming several established national brands.

The network’s flagship English news channel, NewsX, also strengthened its digital presence, recording 1.3 million unique visitors across desktop and mobile to secure a place among the top 10 English news publishers in the country. The performance reflects growing consumer demand for its blend of breaking news, analysis and video-led journalism.

In the Hindi news segment, India News maintained a strong presence with 335,000 unique desktop visitors, continuing to compete in one of India’s most crowded digital news categories.

Meanwhile, InKhabar emerged as one of the biggest performers in the latest rankings. The platform recorded 1.1 million unique desktop visitors, securing the second position nationally among Hindi digital news publishers and finishing ahead of several larger and more established competitors.

The latest rankings indicate the growing importance of differentiated editorial identities as digital audiences increasingly seek credible reporting, in-depth analysis and platform-specific content experiences.

Commenting on the performance, Aishwarya Pandit Sharma, Chairperson, iTV Foundation, said the strong audience reach reflects readers’ growing preference for investigative reporting, in-depth journalism and impactful storytelling. She added that digital has become the primary medium for news consumption and that the rankings reinforce the trust audiences place in the network’s journalism.

Akshansh Yadav, CEO, iTV Digital, said audience behaviour continues to evolve as consumers seek credible, exclusive and relevant news. He noted that each of the network’s brands has been built around a distinct editorial identity, with the latest Comscore performance reflecting the strength of that strategy.

The collective showing of The Sunday Guardian, NewsX, India News and InKhabar underscores iTV Network’s continued expansion across English and Hindi news, highlighting its growing ability to attract audiences across languages, platforms and content formats in an increasingly competitive digital media market.
