Funskool launches ‘Monopoly’ edition
MUMBAI: Funskool India has launched ‘Global Monopoly Here and Now: The World Edition,’ featuring big cities from around the world. |
The new offering is available in an electronic as well as non electronic version, priced at Rs 1499 and Rs 999 respectively.
Available at leading stores in India, the electronic version has Monopoly credit card and a digital banking device that keeps track of the balance, while the non-electronic version comes with a Deal timer for faster play.
Players will enjoy buying, selling and trading real estate from around the globe in the new Monopoly game. The game board includes mix of cities that showcases the dynamic cultures, sights and history of the planet. Some of the cities that were voted onto the board were Montreal, Riga, Cape Town, Istanbul, Paris, New York, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney.
Along with the 22 property spaces featuring global cities, the game will include updated chance and community chest cards that highlight events and culturally relevant scenarios from countries around the world.

Comedian Kiku Sharda joins the fun with a special rap track as the mischievous icon returns to Indian TV.
MUMBAI: Shin chan is back and this time, he’s bringing the whole house of masti with him! Sony YAY!, India’s leading kids’ entertainment channel, has unveiled ‘House of Masti’, a specially curated programming block to mark 20 years of the iconic animated series Shin chan on Indian television. The campaign transforms the beloved character’s mischievous world into a fresh, high-energy viewing experience. It features new episodes, fan-favourite moments, and themed programming stunts, all designed to stand out from regular broadcasts.
Adding extra sparkle to the celebration, popular comedian Kiku Sharda has joined the campaign. He anchors the integration with a lively rap track titled ‘Shin chan ka YAY! Dhamaal’, infusing contemporary music and humour into the beloved series.
