Escape Plan becomes the title sponsor of Samay Raina’s India tour

BENGALURU: Eighty-plus shows. Six months. One very funny travel buddy. Escape Plan Presents Samay Raina Live, a comedy tour that will travel across cities in India from November 2026 to April 2027, has been announced in Bengaluru on 13 October 2026.

The question behind it is a good one. What happens when one of India’s most-loved comedians teams up with an omni-channel travel products platform that believes the journey is just as important as the destination? You get a tour in which the trip is part of the joke.

Escape Plan has come on board as title sponsor for Samay Raina’s 2026-27 India tour. The partnership brings together two things that increasingly go hand in hand: travelling for experiences, and making a trip out of it. From heading to another city for a show to turning one night into a weekend plan with friends, live entertainment is becoming part of how people experience new places.

The analysis: the fit is neater than it first looks. A luggage and travel accessories company has found a way to make itself part of the reason people travel in the first place, not just the kit they carry. Every show will feature an Escape Plan lounge, giving fans priority access, a dedicated space inside the venue and a few fun additions to the overall experience. Select fans will also get an opportunity to meet Samay. There will be surprises, experiences and activities across different cities, with details revealed as the tour travels across India. So, while the comedian may be the same, every stop will have something of its own.
