Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 set for first mass eviction, wildcard twist

KOCHI: The eviction game is getting crowded. Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 is heading towards its first mass eviction, with a large number of housemates currently facing the possibility of leaving the show in a single elimination round.

The latest development adds another twist to a season that has already packed several surprises into its opening weeks. From the pre-show Agnipareeksha to the first-week eviction and a subsequent return, the reality show has kept its contestants and viewers guessing.

Now, the season could see several contestants exit the Bigg Boss house together for the first time.

The mass eviction is expected to significantly alter the dynamics inside the house, with several familiar faces potentially leaving at the same time. While the exact number of contestants who will ultimately be evicted is yet to be confirmed, the scale of the current nominations has set the stage for an unusual eviction episode.

Adding another layer to the development, multiple wildcard entries could follow the mass eviction. If confirmed, the new entrants could bring fresh alliances, rivalries and strategies into a house already undergoing major changes.

The nomination process was announced during the previous weekend episode by host Mohanlal. As a punishment for what was described as weak performance during the week, all housemates except captain Shijin were placed in the eviction process.

As a result, 18 contestants are currently on the eviction list, with Shijin remaining safe from this round.

The unusually large nomination pool has fuelled speculation around the upcoming episode, particularly over whether the show will follow through with a mass exit rather than a conventional single or limited eviction.

With a potentially reshuffled house and wildcard contestants possibly waiting to enter, the upcoming eviction could mark a significant turning point in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8.
