Big CBS signs carriage deal with Digicable

MUMBAI: Big CBS Networks, a joint venture between Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd and CBS Studios International, has done a carriage and placement deal with cable TV distribution company Digicable.

As part of the deal, at launch, Digicable will distribute the three channels – Big CBS Prime, Big CBS Spark and Big CBS Love – on its platform.
Incidentally, Reliance Communications acquired Digicable in an all-stock deal in July this year.

Digicable Network MD and CEO Jagjit Singh Kohli said, “Subscribers today are more aware and discerning and seek world class entertainment and the Big CBS Channels bring just that to the table. We believe the content will be a huge value addition to our subscribers.”

Earlier, Big CBS had announced its distribution tie-up with Reliance ADAG‘s DTH company, Big TV, for the carriage of the three channels.
