Balaji Telefilms appoints Punyashlok Bhata as CEO of new media

MUMBAI: Balaji Telefilms Ltd has appointed Punyashlok Bhakta as CEO (New Media). The division runs artiste-hiring portal Hoonur.com and the company’s mobile content production.
 
Earlier, Bhakta was the Business Head (Consumer Business) and Head of Marketing at Hungama Digital Media Entertainment where his focus was on building the portal.

Bhakta fills a gap left by Uday Sodhi, who left the company last September to be in job portal HeadHonchos as CEO. 
 
Bhakta has over ten years of experience in marketing and has worked in companies such as Asian Paints and L‘Oreal.
