Big Magic launches another mythological show ‘Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna’

MUMBAI: Big Magic building on its success in the mythological band has recently launched a new show Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna. Following the popularity of the channel’s flagship show, Baal Krishna, this new show is unravelling the untold story of Krishna’s new phase of life in Mathura wherein a new challenge awaits him. With this new offering, the channel aims to engage viewers across age groups by amplifying the entertainment quotient for them. Child actors Bhavesh Balchandani and Harrsh Mehta essay the roles of Krishna and Balram, respectively. The show airs every Monday to Friday at 6pm on Big Magic.

Mythological shows have created a niche in today’s Indian television industry. Big Magic has successfully reached out to the audiences by delivering untapped stories of the mythological figures. The new show – ‘Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna,’ focuses on Krishna facing the powerful king of Magadh, Jarasandh. While seeking vengeance for his son-in-law Kans’ death, Jarasandh vows to kill Krishna-Balram. He also wants to erase the entire race of Yadavas, by killing every last Yaduvanshi. The intense struggle between Jarasandh and Krishna forms the crux of the new story.

In this good vs evil narrative, the channel aims to highlight the side of mythology that is left unsaid in our history. The show’s promotion is being driven by a 360-degree marketing approach, to reach out to the target markets through its various campaigns across TV, radio, on-ground and digital.

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.

The launch marks a milestone for free streaming in India, offering audiences a dedicated comedy destination directly from their Samsung TV home screen. It arrives as Samsung TV Plus India celebrates its 5th anniversary, during which the service has grown its monthly active users by 42 per cent and more than doubled its total viewing hours. The platform now offers over 180 free channels across 14 languages.
