ZMCL Board has appointed Abhay Ojha as CEO and key managerial personnel w.e.f from 2 May

Mumbai: ZEE Media Corporation Limited – one of India’s leading media companies, announced the promotion of Abhay Ojha as its chief executive officer on 2nd May 2023. He had joined ZMCL as the Chief Business Officer and P&L Head for all linear channels excluding WION and ZEE BUSINESS, thus ensuring the business growth graph moved upward steadily since 2022.  

Ojha brings with him over two decades of experience and is known for his strong leadership acumen, analytic skills for impactful business partnerships for Indian markets. He has been a proactive leader and planner with an exemplary work track record in strategized thinking, planning, projection, impactful marketing, key account management, pre-sales effort, and in-depth market analysis.

Prior to ZMCL, Ojha also worked with companies like Star TV, Shop CJ, ZEEL, IndusInd Media, Turner, and HUL. Taking into consideration the vast entrepreneurial exposure, in-depth knowledge about broadcast, digital transformation, short video application, social commerce and digital distribution, FMCG and Home Shopping, and the business success of ZMCL, the Board considered Ojha’s candidature for the post of CEO.

Speaking about his vision for ZMCL, Ojha said, “It’s been a great learning experience at ZEE Media for over a year now. This also calls for a bigger responsibility for discovering new growth opportunities and avenues for the company. News18 India to air Sabse Bada Dangal on 4 May counting day

Channel promises fastest results, live trends and analysis across five states.

MUMBAI: Ballots will do the talking and screens will do the shouting. As counting day approaches for high-stakes Assembly elections across West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry, News18 India is gearing up for an all-day broadcast of its flagship election show, Sabse Bada Dangal, on 4 May from 6 am onwards. The Hindi news channel plans to deliver continuous, real-time updates as votes are tallied, combining live counting data with on-ground reporting and studio analysis.
