Zee UK introduces ‘recommend a friend’ offer

MUMBAI: In a bid to cash in on the lucrative subscription revenue in the UK, the Subhash Chandra broadcaster Zee Telefilms has introduced a new scheme – ‘Recommend a friend to Zee’.

If a Zee subscriber recommends a non Zee subscriber to the network they will benefit by getting a shopping voucher worth 20 that can be spent in any high street store. However, the person who recommends the channels to the friend or family will only be rewarded if the family/friend takes up on the annual subscription to all three Zee channels for 155.88. If, however, they decide to subscribe to Zee Alpha Punjabi only for one year at 77.88, the person who recommended the channel will be rewarded with a music CD.

The broadcaster has also started trailers for MEGA movies. The new promotions are advertising the 16 blockbusters the network will be showing over the next few months.

Some of the movies to be shown this year are Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Mere Yaar Ki Shadi Hai, Humraaz, Legend Of Bhagat Singh, Road and Hathyaar.

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows.
