Zee Studio to premiere Oscar foreign film nominees
MUMBAI: Zee Studio is all set to celebrate the Foreign Language Film Festival. The channel will premiere movies nominated to represent their respective countries in the Foreign Film Category in the prestigious 78th Annual Academy Awards.
Starting 24 February to 5 March, these movies will be premiered at 9 pm everyday.
Speaking on this new initiative, Zee Studio business head Neil Chakravarti said, “This Foreign Language Film Festival is the first of several initiatives to be introduced on Zee Studio as part of its new content offerings. We are offering critically acclaimed movies, from ten different countries that will make you sit up and appreciate the art of filmmaking.”
The Foreign Language Film Festival will showcase movies including To the other side (Mexico); Zozo (Sweden); The Land Has Eyes (Fiji); Fateless (Hungary); Kissed by Winter (Norway); Midwinter Night’s Dream (Serbia); Obaba (Spain); Bluebird (Netherlands); Something Like Happiness (Czech republic) and Sex and Philosophy (Tajikistan).

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.
