Zee MPCG’s exclusive ‘Emerging Bastar’ program goes LIVE
Mumbai: Inclusive Development is possible only if equal opportunities and empowerment is encouraged across the nation. With an aim to acknowledge and appreciate the progressive approach and implementation of development policies in Bastar, Zee Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh (Zee MPCG) highlighted the initiatives taken by the state government by hosting the ‘Emerging Bastar’ conclave. Organized in collaboration with the Government of Chhattisgarh, Zee MPCG’s exclusive ‘Emerging Bastar’ program was an eye-opener to the larger audience for understanding the latest developments in the district and the importance of preserving the rich art, culture and music of the tribal community.
Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, appreciated the Zee MPCG for the exclusive screening of the ‘Emerging Bastar’ program and stated, “Bastar was under the influence of Naxal activities, people were in panic. We won the trust of the people of Bastar by working for the development of Bastar and providing assured security to the people.” Mr. Baghel also further emphasized on how the culture of Bastar is the identity of this place. To save this culture, the government is also looking into the Devguri construction, Ghotul construction, implementation of Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana, Chhattisgarhi Parv Samman Nidhi Yojana etc.
Zee MPCG’s ‘Emerging Bastar’ also witnessed the active participation of well-known dignitaries like Deepak Baij- Member Of Parliament (Loksabha)-Bastar, Chandan Kashyap – MLA, Narayanpur, Shishupala Soori – MLA, Kanker, Vikram Mandavi- MLA, Bijapur, Divyang Patel – SP, Kanker, Ajit Basant- Collector, Narayanpur, Gaurav Rai – SP, Dantewada. Key speakers engaged in in-depth panel discussions on topics like ‘How the benefits of government schemes are reaching the people’, ‘Has the demand of the people of Jagdalpur been fulfilled?’ and several other elements necessary for ‘Inclusive Development’.
Highlighting the relevance of the conclave, Zee MPCG editor Mohit Sinha said, “We take pride in highlighting the initiatives taken by the Government of Chhattisgarh towards the culturally rich and resource-abundant district of Bastar. Improvisation in road connectivity and provision of modern facilities in the tribal land makes Bastar an aspirational tourist hotspot. Public platforms like Emerging Bastar is a step forward towards educating the larger audience on the govt. initiatives being undertaken for the welfare of the people and present the way forward.”

News18 India to air Sabse Bada Dangal on 4 May counting day

MUMBAI: Ballots will do the talking and screens will do the shouting. As counting day approaches for high-stakes Assembly elections across West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry, News18 India is gearing up for an all-day broadcast of its flagship election show, Sabse Bada Dangal, on 4 May from 6 am onwards.
