Watch billiards champion Michael Ferreira on Harsha Online

Popular sports commentator Harsha Bhogle will interview Michael Ferreira on his show Harsha Online. An official release informs that Michael Fereira is a three-time world amateur Billiards Champion. The one hour show airrs on Star Sports on Monday 18 March at 10.30pm

Michael Ferreira's association with the sport started more than five and a half decades ago. Today a lawyer by profession Ferreira is associated with World Pool and Billiards Association. He is also the Coach of India's Billiards and Snooker teams.

Teaching the finer points of the game to youngsters is his way giving back debt owed to the game that brought him worldwide recognition.

The release informs that in 1984 Ferreira was honoured with Padma Bhushan. He was awarded the International Fair Play Award by the International Olympic Committee in 1983 and was also voted The Sportsman of the Year in 1970, 1977 and 1983.
