Vh1 takes a sneak-peak at 2005
MUMBAI: Michael Jackson’s trial, Jen and Brad’s divorce and TomKat. The year that was, Vh1 will showcase all the moments that captured the ups and downs of pop culture in Best Year Ever.
For the past year, Vh1’s Best Week Ever has captured memorable moments from pop culture. On 9 December, it will take a look back at the year in pop culture in an one-hour special — Best Year Ever, informs an official press release.
The show –Best Year Ever will revisit topics covered in 2005 with a new year-end twist including: the hacking of Paris Hilton’s Sidekick, R. Kelly’s ‘Trapped in the Closet’ video, Britney and Kevin’s Chaotic, the Bush Inauguration, Saddam loving Cheetos, and the trend of celebrities helping out for good causes with Live 8, New Orleans and Oprah.
Best Year Ever will also feature special packages such as a farewell montage of celebrity couples that broke up this year and an all-new edition of Doug Benson’s Pop Culture Bachelor.
Finally, the show will present the award for who had the Best Year Ever, which will be determined by voters on VH1.com. And the nominees are: Angelina Jolie, Kanye West, Tyra Banks, Cheaters (i.e., the people who made it big by ‘bending the rules’ like Martha Stewart and Jude Law) and Weathermen.

The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows.
