Thai model Cindy Burbridge on [V] show in May

MUMBAI: Cindy Burbridge, a former Miss Thailand and Miss World 1996, will soon feature on Channel [V]’s show The Juice sometime in the first week of May.
 
 
The hour-long music programme that’s traditionally termed “Rhythm & Blues” will showcase some of today’s hit makers like Ashanti , Alicia Keys, Nelly as well as ‘old school’ favourites from Boyz II Men, Whitney Houston & Chaka Khan.

Featuring a wide variety of great R&B musicians together with superb music videos, Channel [V] vice president content and communications Keertan Adyanthaya says: “The Juice is definitely “the” music show with heart and soul. The beautiful and talented VJ Cindy Burbridge will treat discerning listerners to a selection of R&B songs from today and yesterday.”

Cindy has mainly starred on Thai TV Channel 3 Dramas and music channel programmes. Born and raised in Thailand by dad William Burbridge, the first scuba diving diver trainer in Thailand, and mom Patricia, of mixed Thai herself, Cindy grew up with the ocean as her backyard. She was first introduced to diving by her father when she was barely five. In between shoots and professional modelling, Cindy makes sure that she gets to dive once or twice a month.

When she was in her teens Cindy’s father’s friend needed a model who could dive for a commercial. Fate stepped in and Cindy starred in her first commercial. After her schooling in Pattaya and her move to Bangkok Cindy enrolled at Bangkok’s premier international school, RuamRudee.

One of Thailand’s top supermodels, Cindy struts her stuff on the catwalks of every major fashion show and the covers of every top of the line magazine.

Cindy is also a mass communications major who believes in doing her best as if each day is the last day of life. Despite her busy work and study schedule, she gives a lot of importance to a healthy lifestyle. As a vegetarian, her diet consists mainly of fruits and vegetables, without any junk and greasy food

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.

The launch marks a milestone for free streaming in India, offering audiences a dedicated comedy destination directly from their Samsung TV home screen.
