Sunil Khanna to replace Apurva Purohit at Zee

NEW DELHI: The Subhash Chandra-promoted Zee Telefilms has found a replacement for Zee TV president Apurva Purohit. The person entrusted with the job is Zee Turner CEO Sunil Khanna, an old hand at Zee and a trusted man of the promoter family.

Recently, Purohit and Zee had announced that both would go their separate ways.In a chat with indiantelevision.com after putting in her papers at Zee, Purohit had dubbed the decision as a “time to move on” as priorities in life change.
Since Purohit would be with Zee till 31 January, it is natural to expect that Khanna would take over his new responsibilities only then.
At the time of writing this report, it is still not clear who would replace Khanna at Zee Turner, a distribution 76:24 joint venture between Zee Telefilms and Turner International India, a Time Warner company. Keep tuned in for more.
