Star brings in supercop to spice up Friday night fare
One crime show is being replaced by another on Star Plus.
Kahaani Jurrm Ki, which made its debut nearly a year ago on the Friday Sachin Khurana plays the “supercop”
late night slot, is bowing out, paving the way for Avinash IPS.
To air on Star Plus from 31 May at 11 pm, Avinash IPS will feature a supercop hunting for criminals and fighting against crime. Avinash IPS, the action-packed series on Star Plus, is about the smart, intelligent, handsome supercop, who is the nightmare of every criminal. The show is produced by Miditech, while the lead role will be played by model Sachin Khurana (Adonis Mr Graviera 1996).
The show, produced by Miditech TV, replaces Kahaani Jurrm Ki, also a Miditech production. Currently, its rivals on other channels include Tejaswini on Zee and Bhanwar on Sony.
