SET Asia set to air four big movies this festive season

MUMBAI: This festive season, Sony Entertainment Television Asia is all set to air blockbuster movies. The channel, which earlier telecast Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Lagaan, will now air four more premieres, said SET Asia vice president for International Business Neeraj Arora.

Arora said, “SET Asia has a long history of bringing the biggest films to our viewers television screens first and this festive season is no different. With Masti and Koi Mil Gaya this October and Murder and Kal Ho Na Ho just around the corner, our viewers can look forward to a stunning line up of the best from Bollywood.”

These four films are part of Sony’s festive sizzler season, which will launch with the premiere of Masti on Sunday 10 October. Following this will be the premiere of Koi Mil Gaya on Sunday, 24 October and Murder and Kal Ho NA Ho will air for the first time on the channel later this year.

Masti is the fun filled story of three friends who find out that the cost of adultery is far greater than they could ever have imagined and stars Vivek Oberoi, Ajay Devgan and Lara Dutta among others. On the other hand, Koi Mil Gaya starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta was last year’s summer blockbuster. Murder is a musical thriller, which tells of a wife who seeks to quench her thirst for comfort in the arms of another man. Kal Ho NA Ho is the box office smash hit set in New York and stars Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta.

Since its launch, SET Asia has screened some of the biggest films as premieres to the delight of its viewers. Amongst the list of blockbuster movies are the likes of Devdas, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Mohabbatein, Lagaan, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Saathiya.
