Sahara One to release 150 prints of ‘Hanuman’
MUMBAI: Sahara One Motion Picture’s first animation venture Hanuman, in association with Percept Picture Company and Silvertoons, is set to release 150 prints nationwide.
This is for the first time that an animation film is being promoted like a complete commercial film compared to the other films in this genre. Hanuman will be released worldwide on 21 October. The total duration of the film is 90 minutes.
“This film has all the ingredients of a commercial film. It has music, drama, action everything that the Indian audience would see in any other film. Animation has always taken a backseat in Indian cinema. But Hanuman is going to set a new trend and create a boom in the animation industry,” says Percept Picture Company MD Shailendra Singh.
“We are promoting Hanuman as any other film. This film is a complete package of storyline, songs and has the animation that will make it engrossing, inspirational entertainment for both kids and adult,” says Sahara One Motion Pictures COO Sandeep Bhargava.
This film is directed by the animation veteran V.G Samant. Mukesh Khanna has lent his voice to the adult Hanuman and the music is composed by debutante Tapas Relia.
