Sahara One rolls out contest around ‘Page 3’

MUMBAI: Sahara One is all set to air the National Award winnng movie Page 3 tomorrow (30 September) at 8:30 pm and it has weaved a contest around the same to involve viewers.
 
 

The on air contest PAGE 3 Dekho… Page 3 Par Chha Jao gives viewers an opportunity to appear on Page 3.
 
 

The movie gives a sneak peak into the life’s of the rich and famous celebrities and their hedonistic pursuits at the most exclusive parties in tinsel town.

As part of the contest viewers will have to answer a simple question to be aired during the movie and SMS it to 9090. The winners will be treated like Page 3 celebrities and also feature on the page 3 of a leading city newspaper, capturing the page 3 moments.

These include to be driven around in a spacious car, cash money to splurge and eat out at the most happening and classy joints.

The triple National Award winning film takes a merciless look at the horned fellas of the party circuit. The film takes us inside this opulent world through the eyes of novice journalist, Madhavi Sharma [Konkona Sen Sharma]. As a Page 3 columnist, Madhavi gains unlimited access to glittering parties, fashion shows and premieres, but she discovers that even under the glare of the spotlight, misery lurks. Her jaded subjects drown their senses with sex, drugs, a pulsing dance beat and empty conversation to divert attention from their shallow lives. Even among Madhavi’s friends, ambition trumps integrity. Madhavi is privy to the cannibalistic relationship between media and the entertainment industry. Yet, her discovery of a criminal element that exploits children and a subsequent cover-up lead her to seriously question the direction of her career.

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.

The launch marks a milestone for free streaming in India, offering audiences a dedicated comedy destination directly from their Samsung TV home screen. It arrives as Samsung TV Plus India celebrates its 5th anniversary, during which the service has grown its monthly active users by 42 per cent and more than doubled its total viewing hours. The platform now offers over 180 free channels across 14 languages.
