Sahara India Mass Communication name change in EGM agenda
MUMBAI: Sahara India Mass Communication Ltd has informed Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), of the members of the company, will be held on 12 December.
As per the announcement, the meeting will transact various issues including the changing of the company name from “Sahara India Mass Communication Ltd” to “Sahara One Media & Entertainment Ltd”.
As already reported by indiantelevision.com, the name change is meant to reflect the SaharaOne brand. Sahara is also considering the merger of its broadcasting company with the listed entity.
