Raj TV to telecast Raja Geetham awards on 9 July
MUMBAI: Tamil channel Raj TV will telecast the third edition of its Raja Geetham Awards, an annual voice hunt event, on 9 July from 4:30 pm onwards.
The 2003-04 Raja Geetham awards were given away on 25 June in the presence of music heavyweights A R Rahman, P B Srinivas, TM Soundararajan, Harris Jayaraj, Deva, K S Chitra, Bharadwaj and others. The winners of the competition Vidyashankar and Suchitra have also bagged a film offer from Sivasree Pictures. The event was also market by various musical performances.
The channel has roped in Shakti Masala as the sponsor of the event while Head & Shoulders and Saffola Tasty Blend have been brought on board as co-sponsors. LG is the gift sponsor.
