PNC Q3 net up 3% YoY

MUMBAI: The third quarter results for Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd. are in. The company’s net profit for the quarter ended 31 December 2003 stands at Rs 10.6 million – up 2.9 per cent over the corresponding period last fiscal.
 

The company’s net revenues for the period are Rs 65.31 million and operating profits stand at Rs 19.84 million.

While the net profits haven’t seen any significant growth, the company`s profit before tax has grown 68.3 per cent to Rs 17.3 million from Rs 10.3 million during the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal.

PNC’s feature film Chameli has reportedly seen a very good opening and has been well received amongst multiplex and mass audiences alike. Another PNC film, the yet to be released Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi has been selected for the Berlin International Film Festival in February.

PNC’s annual movie awards – Sansui Viewers Choice Movie Awards – is slated to be held two days from now on 1 February.
