News18 Assam to host National Education Expo
Mumbai: The Northeast region is filled with talented young individuals who aim to accomplish outstanding achievements in their academic pursuits. Despite the talent the region faces a challenge in terms of the limited availability of higher education institutes, forcing students to relocate to other regions to pursue higher education. Students also encounter a plethora of questions and uncertainties over the proper course to take. Pledging expert guidance, News18 Assam Northeast has announced National Education Expo (NEE) to connect students of Northeast to educational institutes across India. On the 8 and 9 July, Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium will serve as an avenue between institutions from all across India and prospective students from the northeast.
The event will witness the participation of more than 25 institutes from across the country, providing an informative platform for students in Northeast India to explore higher education opportunities. Graphic Era University, Dehradun; Sri Krishna Devaraya Educational Trust (Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology); Adarsha Group of Institutions; PES University; JIS group, Kolkata; Kingston Educational Institute, West Bengal; Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutions, Kolkata are a few renowned institutes to be a part of the expo. Additionally,educationists, influencers, and dignitaries will be present to shed light on the current education scenario, challenges, and prospects in the Northeast region.
The expo will feature one-of-a-kind platforms for students, educators, and educational institutes to interact; specific stalls for colleges, universities, and institutes showcasing opportunities for the students; stalls for banks and other financial institutions offering educational loans; seminars and panel discussions; and a platform to felicitate Assam’s board exam toppers.
