New course in tech media, digital communications

MUMBAI: Media One, promoted by Jasubhai Digital Media, has started the first batch of its “Post Graduate Diploma in Technology Media and Digital Communication”.

A ten-month full time course, it covers subjects like journalism, media research, printing and production, content management, design, broadband, media planning, marketing communication,public relations, operations, valuation, presentation and reporting. The course emphasizes on learning by doing, says an official release.

The whole course is divided into eight functional modules: The Creator, The Architect, The Director, The Technologist, The Producer, The Marketer, The Researcher, The Director and The Manager, aims at taking the student through the entire gamut of media.

“It is our hope and endeavour that at the end of the ten-month programme, the students will be competent not only in the theory but on the actual implementation of the job role,” Jasubhai Digital Media CEO Maulik Jasubhai is quoted as saying in the release.
