Kyunki..’s Mihir leads Star Parivaar top husband polling

MUMBAI: The competition for the first category of the Dabur Red Toothpaste STAR Parivaar Awards is hotting up. No prizes for guess who is leading in the the favourite screen son on Star Plus stakes thus far. Yes, it is Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’s Mihir with 25.7 per cent of the votes tallied as of today.

But Om Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’s Om is certainly running Mihir close with 24.6 per cent of the vote. Actor Kiran Karmarkar, who portrays Om in the daily had bagged Indiantelly Awards best actor’s trophy last year, but besides the good performances, the mytho-legend ‘Ram’ like qualities that the character embodies are what is clicking with the audiences.

Next in line is Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s Anurag, who has 23.2 per cent, followed by Dr Shashank from Sanjivani- the medical boon, with 13 per cent. While the suave industrialist Bajaj from Kasautii Zindagii Kay is fifth on the list with 11.9 per cent. Last on Dabur Red Toothpaste Star Parivaar Awards best screen husbands list is Tilak from the daily afternoon soap Bhabhi.
