Jim Moloshok is HBO US president, media ventures

MUMBAI: HBO US has announced that Jim Moloshok is its president, media ventures.

Moloshok will report to HBO executive VP, original programming, business development and new media Carmi Zlotnik. Moloshok will be responsible for exploring new opportunities for HBO, focusing on the point of intersection between innovative content and fast changing technology.

HBO CEO Chris Albrecht says, “Jim has a keen understanding and much valuable experience in the world of cross-media programming. We are really excited to have him on our team,” said Albrecht. Zlotnik said, “At HBO, we are looking to the future and integrating new media and technology plans in almost every department. Jim’s unique perspective will contribute immensely to company-wide efforts.”

Moloshok comes to HBO from Yahoo! where he has been since 2002. He recently served as senior VP, entertainment and content relationships.
