Hungama targets pre-school kids with new series ‘The Dragon’
MUMBAI: Hungama TV has launched its new pre-school animation series The Dragon. Starting 27 February, the series will air Monday to Friday at 12 pm.
The concept of this series Dragon is based on the popular preschool book series written by Steven Western. This journey of the dragon proposes to expose kids to various facets of life in a very simple and fun manner. The series brings out the Dragon to life in 3-D stop motion animation, according to an official release.
Commenting on this, Hungama TV programming head Zarina Mehta said, “Dragon will add to the bunch of new animation shows which Hungama TV has planned for kids. We are looking forward to provide kids with a complete package of adventure & entertainment through these shows.”
This preschool series has already been purchased by Treehouse TV in Canada, ZDF in Germany and ABC in Australia and now can be viewed in India on Hungama TV, the release adds.

Comedian Kiku Sharda joins the fun with a special rap track as the mischievous icon returns to Indian TV.
MUMBAI: Shin chan is back and this time, he’s bringing the whole house of masti with him! The campaign transforms the beloved character’s mischievous world into a fresh, high-energy viewing experience. It features new episodes, fan-favourite moments, and themed programming stunts, all designed to stand out from regular broadcasts.
Adding extra sparkle to the celebration, popular comedian Kiku Sharda has joined the campaign. He anchors the integration with a lively rap track titled ‘Shin chan ka YAY! Dhamaal’, infusing contemporary music and humour into the beloved series.
