GRB Worldwide to distribute New Zealand’s Teleola adventure series ‘The Summit’

MUMBAI: GRB Worldwide a venture floated by GRB Entertainment has been selected as exclusive distributor for The Summit, a new 10 x 60 minute adventure series produced by Teleola, the New Zealand-based television production company.
In addition to distributing this adventurous competition-based series, it will also be offering The Summit as a format with rights available worldwide.
“We are proud to be representing The Summit at NATPE. We feel that this is another example of a great series and hot format from a territory which has been a good indicator of success worldwide,” commented GRB Worldwide president Gavin Reardon.
GRB Entertainment’s productions have included Growing Up Gotti (A&E), Next Action Star (NBC), Simply Irresistible (VH1), and In The Shadows Of War (The History Channel). GRB Entertainment’s main competitors are Bunim/Murray productions, Endemol.B.V and FremantleMedia Ltd.
The Summit uses the spectacular locations of New Zealand as the backdrop for a primetime adventure elimination show in which twenty men and women, over the course of ten weeks, face the challenge of their lives. 
Cut off from everyday life, they stretch themselves to their limits, both physically and mentally, battling each other through individual and team competitions, striving to be the first to reach the summit. The one who wins will need intelligence, fitness, the ability to work within a team, and the cunning to know when to work as an individual.
