ETC Punjabi, Zee hit the event zone with ‘Dhoom’, ‘Nachde Punjabi’

MUMBAI: ETC Channel Punjabi, Zee Punjabi and Zee Gujrati have lined up a musical extravaganza Dhoom, featuring popular Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan. The event will be held at YMCA Grounds, Ahmedabad on 18 January.
Revealing more about the show, ETC Channel Punjabi and Zee Punjabi president Rabindra Narayan says, “This is for the first time that an event is being telecast live on three channels simultaneously. We are endeavouring to provide and deliver high quality entertainment with highest standard of professionalism and creativity while keeping the likings of viewers also in mind. Our channels provide the biggest platform to the fans of Punjabi music and we would keep scaling new heights as we grow.”
Adds ETC Channel Punjabi and Zee Punjabi VP programming Rajiee M. Shinde, “We have always maintained to be different from what the rest of the channels have to offer. Our Punjabi channels have a long and glorious past in holding successful music based shows and our deliveries will be improved with every coming month in 2006. Our musical shows are not only the biggest in terms of attendance but also the most watched not just in India but all over the world. The show will be beamed live across 112 other countries apart from India.”
Preceding Dhoom on the event front will be another musical event Nachde Punjabi. The event, to be held on 15 January at Leisure Valley, will be telecast live on ETC Channel Punjabi and Zee Punjabi from 7 pm onwards.
According to an official release, the event is being held on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas 2006. for viewers all over India. The evening will feature top and renowned Punjabi artists like Sukhshinder Shinda, Jassi Sidhu, Pammi Bai and Deepak Dhillon along with the hot and sensational Deepal Shaw of the famous remix number, Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar fame. Nachde Punjabi will be anchored by Satinder Satti.

TLC launches ‘World On My Plate’ with Shipra Khanna

New travel-food series premieres 29 March at 7:00 PM.

MUMBAI: Shipra Khanna just packed her bags and her flavours because when a celebrated chef takes you on a global plate tour, even the couch starts feeling like first-class. Warner Bros. Discovery India has announced the launch of World On My Plate with Shipra Khanna, a new travel and food series set to premiere on TLC on 29 March at 7:00 PM. Hosted and curated by the popular chef and television personality, the show blends food, travel and culture through an intimate and immersive lens.

Across three visually rich episodes, Shipra journeys to global destinations to explore not just what people eat, but why they eat it, uncovering the stories, traditions and human connections behind every dish. The series opens in London, weaving its iconic landmarks with diverse culinary scenes, before moving to Spain’s vineyards, olive orchards and coastal kitchens.

Warner Bros. Discovery head of advertising revenues for South Asia Tanaz Mehta said: “At TLC, our focus has always been on bringing authentic stories that reflect how people live and connect. World On My Plate builds on this by using food as a lens to explore shared traditions across geographies.
