Coke to launch promo for Harry Potter movie

ATLANTA (US):From this week, folk in the US stand to win a trip for four to London if they find a ‘Golden Snitch’ game piece inside any specially-marked packages of Coca-Cola products.

The prizes are a part of Coke’s fall Catch the Golden Snitch and Win promotion supporting Warner Bros Pictures’ November 15 release of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

During the promotion, every multi-pack of Coca-Cola classic and caffeine free Coca-Cola classic will contain a collectible game card featuring images of favourite movie characters including Harry Potter. People that find the “Golden Snitch” on a game card get either a $5 movie certificate or win one of 10 trips to London. Bottle caps on .5-liter, 2-liter and 3-liter products also offer the chance to win these prizes.

All game pieces and bottle caps contain codes that will enable people to enjoy an exclusive “secret peek” of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets movie stills on LiveTheMagic.com. During the promotion, colourful Harry Potter-themed packaging and displays will decorate supermarket aisles, and special national television and radio advertising spots will run in support of the programme. In addition, Internet programming with interactive games and additional opportunities to win prizes will be featured on LiveTheMagic.com.
