Cobweb to premiere exclusively on Lionsgate Play on 27 October
Mumbai: Secrets from the past are back to haunt! What starts off as just some regular nightmares for Peter, unravels into a web of lies and secrets that pushes him into a corner, questioning his trust in his own parents. Lionsgate Play’s Cobweb is an intense horror film with heart-stopping jump scares and a storyline that is bound to shock you to your very core. Starring the iconic Antony Starr and Lizzy Caplan, Cobweb is set to release on 27 October exclusively on Lionsgate Play.
Talking about reading Cobweb’s script, fan-favorite Antony Starr said, “At a certain point I turned the page and went ‘Wait What?’ And it was the ‘pump the brakes, record scratch’ moment when I realized Oh My God, everything that I thought was something else and so you know I got really excited about it, and like a rule of thumb for me is, if I’m reading a script, do I read the script and find holes and go Well that doesn’t make sense or do I read a script and go oh, wow, like like, I have ideas around what’s already there. And this is one of those cases so it’s been amazing.”
Directed by Samuel Bodin, Cobweb releases exclusively on Lionsgate Play this 27 October.

Gross revenue for the quarter soared by 22.15 per cent to Rs 9,784 crore, up from Rs 8,010 crore in the third quarter. Operationally, the momentum was equally strong; revenue from operations climbed 21 per cent to Rs 8,372 crore. Cricket proved to be the ultimate growth engine. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and TATA IPL 2026 delivered “record-breaking viewership” across both television and digital screens. On television, JioStar maintained a commanding 34.2 per cent viewership share, reaching a staggering 810 million viewers nationwide.
The digital numbers were just as impressive. JioHotstar averaged 500 million monthly active users, driven by consistent subscriber growth and innovative AI-led content discovery tools. These advancements are ensuring that JioStar remains at the cutting edge of the global “Race for Attention.”
