Channel [V] looks to establish foothold in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Star’s music channel Channel (V) is looking to gain a firm foothold in Singapore with the help of its show Channel [V] Smash Hits which launched on MediaCorp TV Channel 5 yesterday
The show has been tailored for Singapore’s music fans. Hosted by Singapore’s home-grown VJ Sarah Tan, Channel (V) Smash Hits allows viewers to sample hot music that is jamming the airwaves and making news on the international pop scene.
An official release informs that with a combination of charm, funkiness and intelligence, VJ Sarah is the ‘It’ girl across Asia, known for her notorious gatecrashing of the Grammy Awards in New York some years ago.
