BQC resurfaces on Sony in new travelling avatar

 Bournvita Quiz Contest, the show that dumped Zee for greener pastures, has resurfaced on Sony from 12 May, again on a Sunday morning slot.

The new look Cadbury Bournvita Quiz Contest has been shot on location with 96 participants in Sri Lanka and will be anchored by Asia’s most familiar face in quizzing, Derek O’Brien. To be aired at 10:30 am Sundays, every episode will feature a segment that showcases the culture and heritage of Sri Lanka called Taste of Paradise and every episode features a special guest from Sri Lanka like Arjuna Ranatunga.

According to Sony vice president, programming and production, Nachiket Pantvaidya, in its new avtaar, Cadbury Bournvita Quiz Contest makes the transition to the next level of entertainment in school quiz shows.

Prize money of Rs 20,000 is up for grabs in the grand finals while the runners up get Rs 15,000.
