Asianet to launch two primetime soaps

MUMBAI: Malayalam regional channel Asianet is launching two primetime serials on 8 November. Both the serials are slotted for the 7 pm to 9 pm band.

The serial Oorma (The Memory) directed by KK Rajeev will air Monday – Friday at 7:30 pm. Veteran Malayalam film actor Thilkan is the star attraction of the soap along with popular artists from the Malayalam films and tube Devan, Sanoosha, Suresh Krishna, Priya Raman and Sreelatha. The story is woven around a character, played by Priya Raman, who has lost her memory in an accident.

The channel is launching another soap Thalolam for the 9:00 pm slot. Directed by popular Malayalam film director Balu Kiriyat, the serial stars Sukumari, Boban Aalamoodan, Shiju, Manjari and Sajita Beti. The story revolves around two families in a residential colony.
