MUMBAI: With new releases on hold till the duration of the Cricket World Cup, films released earlier help fill the void while also adding a bit to the recovery.

Tanu Weds Manu is the chief beneficiary of the vacuum as it ends its fourth week with a respectable Rs 35 million. The film‘s total now stands at Rs 347 million.
 
7 Khoon Maaf collects Rs 2.3 million in its 5th week, taking its total to Rs 172.5 million.
Dil Toh Baccha Hai adds Rs 80,000 to its total in the 8th week; the total to date is Rs 307 million.

As the cricket fever ebbs this weekend, releases of new films resume with one or two slated for release every week.
